Hello World!

My name is Dwayne and welcome to my website, you could've gone to any blog, website, video or wherever but you came to my page and i thank you for that. This is my first blog so what does every first blog need to be? An introduction! Even though you read my "About Me" section, that was only a preview of who I am. I was born in Washington D.C. (THE NATION'S CAPITAL!) and raised in Mitchellville, MD so I am a PG County native. I went to undergrad in Arlington, VA attending DeVry University with a bachelor's in Electronic Engineering and Technology and attended post graduate school at THE University of Maryland University College with a Master's degree in CyberSecurity.

Now, that the basic background is out of the way a let us get a little more deeper... I gave my life to Jesus Christ in 2009 after I graduated from undergrad. I was in a relationship that was toxic and I knew it (I will tell this story at a later time), but God brought me out and of He can do it for me, He can do it for you. I have been living for God ever since and I will not ever stop.

I also am an adoptee (spoiler alert), my parents adopted me when I was a baby and my life has changed for the better. I was told when I was in middle school, but my entire family knew and treated me like one of their own... I love them all dearly and the lessons and relationships that I have gained are second to none (this is another story that I will tell at another time).

I started speaking when I took a "Effective Communications" course at church and I fell in love with it. I was able to use my voice to communicate and touch others, I discovered that by using my voice I can help other people. While working in DC, I joined a group called Toastmasters and they helped me with speaking more and more. I am still active with that group and will continue to be.

I got married in June of this year to a wonderful woman of God and she has blessed me everyday. I also love movies, video games, reading and going to comic cons!!! But this is me in a nutshell, stay tuned for more blogs and videos to come! I hope to see more of you!
